2.2 ASSESSOR COMPENSATION AND ASSESSOR EXPENSE REIMBURSEMENT
2.2.1 ANNUAL ASSESSMENT BUDGET
1.0 The State Director of Assessment (SDA) shall, submit an annual assessment budget for approval by the OSSRC. The SDA's budget shall provide separate line item entries for, but not limited to, the following: assessor supplemental stipends, administrative costs and travel broken out by District rolled-up to the state level.
2.0 District Directors of Assessment (DDA) shall prepare and submit an annual budget to the SDA for input to the annual assessment budget.
2.2.2 COMPENSATION FOR REQUESTED ASSESSMENTS2.0 District Directors of Assessment (DDA) shall prepare and submit an annual budget to the SDA for input to the annual assessment budget.
2.2.2.1 Each assessor shall be compensated in accordance with current USSF Assessor Handbook Guidelines.
2.2.3 OSYSA SEMI-FINAL AND FINAL STATE CUP MATCHES
2.2.2.1.1 Payment is to be made prior to the match and done in a discreet manner. See table below for clarification
2.2.2.1.2 An assessor who performs two separate assessments in consecutive matches will be paid the full amount for each assessment.
2.2.2.1.3 Referee may also be asked to cover mileage as well. See table below for acceptable mileage fees
2.2.2.2 The OSSRC, or any local USSF affiliated referee association, may request the assessment of any Ohio South referee. The requesting organization, be it the OSSRC or that local USSF affiliated referee association, shall compensate the assigned assessor an amount equal to the game fee of the assessed official, unless another amount was previously agreed upon by the assessor and the requesting organization. 2.2.3.1 U13 and above, OSSRC will pay assessors $50.00 per game.
2.2.3.2 If referee requested for upgrade or maintenance: OSSRC Policy above apply.
2.2.4 COMPENSATION FOR PDL AND W-LEAGUE ASSESSMENTS2.2.3.2 If referee requested for upgrade or maintenance: OSSRC Policy above apply.
2.2.4.1 The OSSRC will compensate all Ohio South registered assessors who are assigned by the SDA, for assessing Ohio South registered officials in the PDSL and/or the W-League games, whether requested by the official(s) or not.
2.2.4.3 The assessors are required to send all written documents to the SDA within seven days after the game. Such an assessment will be counted towards that assessor's annual requirement for re-certification.
2.2.5 COMPENSATION FOR PRO ASSESSMENTS
2.2.4.1.1 The assessor will be paid by the OSSRC in accordance with the OSSRC Fee schedule for this assessment.
2.2.4.2 If a request is made to the SDA by an official(s) other than an Ohio-South registered referee for an assessment in a PDSL and/or a W-League game, that official(s) will compensate the assessor with one-half of their game fee (or a $80 maximum total).2.2.4.3 The assessors are required to send all written documents to the SDA within seven days after the game. Such an assessment will be counted towards that assessor's annual requirement for re-certification.
2.2.5.1 The SDA will assign an assessor to all pre-season or exhibition pro games scheduled in Ohio South.
2.2.6 COMPENSATION FOR ADULT INTRASTATE GAMES
2.2.5.1.1 The referee and assistant referees will compensate the assessor prior to the match per adopted OSSRC Fee Schedule.
2.2.5.2 The USSF will assign an assessor to all scheduled in-season pro games.
2.2.5.2.1 The USSF will compensate the assessor for all scheduled pro games in accordance with its payment and reimbursement policies.
2.2.5.3 The assessor is required to submit a written assessment on the USSF website within seven days after the game.
2.2.6.1 The SDA will assign an assessor to all adult intrastate games scheduled in Ohio South.
2.2.7 OBSERVER COMPENSATION
2.2.6.1.1 The referee and assistant referees will compensate the assessor prior to the match per adopted OSSRC Fee Schedule.
2.2.6.2 The assessor is required to submit a written assessment on the USSF website within seven days after the game.
The OSSRC will pay an observer a fee per adopted Fee Schedule for each game that an observer has been requested to observe by the SDA, SRA, DDA or DRA. This payment will be made only after an informal report (written or verbal) has been submitted to the individual requesting the observation.
2.2.8 OSSRC PAYMENT OF ANNUAL ASSESSOR RE-REGISTRATION FEES
2.2.8.1 The OSSRC shall pay the re-registration fee for all assessors who have met their required annual minimum requirements
2.2.8.1.5 The SDA has the latitude to determine justified exceptions (i.e., extended travel, extended illness, or other extenuating circumstances) to this policy.
2.2.8.2 Any assessor may appeal the decision of the SDA regarding the above (or any other decision) by either submitting it to the SDA for reconsideration, and/or by submitting it to the OSSRC at its next scheduled business meeting.

2.2.8.1.1 Provided at least 10 hours of referee development work (includes: referee coach program, academy mentoring, formal assessments, and helping at a State or Pro clinic)

The SDA in coordination with the DDAs will determine those assessors whose annual re-registration will be paid by the OSSRC, etc. based on the assessor's support of the above programs.
Coaching 1 hour credit for every 2 forms submitted
Academy maximum 4 hours for every academy
Formal Assessments 2 hours per assessment
Fitness test 2 hours per event
