Thank you very much for considering me for Adult Referee of the Year. It is a great honor to receive this award for Ohio South.

I am a State referee and have been involved with adult soccer in Ohio South since 1997. I am also an assessor, instructor, and assignor.

In the last several years I have been fortunate enough to attend several tournaments as a referee. These include the Las Vegas Silver Mug Invitational, Diadora Cup, Adidas Warrior Classic, MASC, and the USASA Veteran's Cup. I was also involved with the Region 2 adult regional tournament in 2006.

In addition to officiating, I also participate in several off field activities for the adult soccer community. I developed and implemented a discipline procedure for the GCASL (D1 men's amateur) in Cincinnati. I handle all the match reports and discipline. This program helped clean up the behavior issues in the league. This helped make the league a top notch league and attract out of town referees. I attend matches and provide D&G assessments for the referee crews to help them enhance their abilities at the adult level. I am also taking over as DDA in Cincinnati.

In 2006 I was the assistant adult State Cup Commissioner for Ohio South. I am taking over as State Cup Commissioner in 2007. I was involved in the adult regionals for Region 2 in 2006. In addition to my duties as Cup Commissioner, I was involved as a field marshal, 4th official, and was an instructor for the local association referee day clinic on Saturday of the regionals.

In 2006 I scheduled the SOASA Cup and was the site administrator for several National Cup and SOASA Cup matches.
